Editor Launching utility installs into a BZ2 directory, allows maps to be launched directly without having to edit BZ2 shortcuts. This app also installs a 'sandbox' directory that can allow you to test units and weapons without affecting your stock installation.

Includes Black Rooks object lists as well as additional object lists for FE.

Features/improvements:
  • adds missing slider controls
  • quick change viewdistance buttons - aids pulling back to get big picture when editing terrain
  • moved controls to allow all four sides to use drag/move operations
  • auto accepts activisions legal agreement
  • added preset dll paths for common dlls
  • added Lizard's objects list contents plus much more
  • Cereberi ships and buildings added to objects
  • modified terrain textures display to show them clearer and larger
  • object list display size increased and fixed list scroll bug
  • added a buildable terrain view mini button to camera controls
  • added one button graphics settings for mp mappers to switch between lo, med and hi gfx to check map in all modes easily - hotkeys provided as well (ctrl+insert & ctrl+del & ctrl+end)
  • fill with height button added
  • set of terrain ramping tools included
  • can now set many of your personal starting default settings such as brush sizes, ai intelligence, etc. (in bzeditor.cfg)
  • brush mode hotkeys allow F1-F5 switching between eyedrop and paint, spray, and blend
  • custom folder allows odfs that are only used during editng to not interfere with your regular assets

MP Mappers should constantly check their maps in all modes of graphics settings to see how they look, since at least 80% of multiplayers run at less than max graphics settings. Three push buttons (plus hotkeys) are now always available to swap these settings quickly without having to go into the escape menu setups. The hotkeys are set up default as Ctrl + Insert = max FX, Ctrl + Delete = min FX and Ctrl + End for medium FX.

Also supported is defaulting your brush sizes and modes for each of the different tool screens of the editor. You can easily change these in bzeditor.cfg along with the default object that is present on loading.
